I tailor to you with a focus on improving three main aspects: Reading Comprehension, Creative Writing and Critical Writing. This includes free writing, essay writing and comprehensions.

Sessions are focused on issues the student is having in school, so most texts will be taken from the current curriculum to remain relevant to the students, as well as similar texts to help expand their understandings of the text wherever necessary.

Minor focuses on common struggle areas such as SPaG, improving vocabulary for essay writing and paragraph structures.

I am currently a University student studying Creative Writing and English Literature, after studying combined Literature and Language at A-Level (receiving an A* for my coursework).

I have previously been a student mentor within my secondary school, and most recently volunteered as a reading buddy at my local library aiding primary school aged children who struggled with their reading comprehension.

I am incredibly patient and accommodating to each students needs, and will alter my session plans to best fit each student. I can easily incorporate relevant texts and pieces for each student to ensure that they are understanding what they are doing to the best of their abilities.

I aim to help students who are in KS3/KS4, as well as those currently studying in their GCSE years.

As I am a university student in the Norwich area, I am most comfortable with remote sessions, and I am available to reach via mobile or email. I am available most afternoons after four o'clock, and am available all day on weekends.
