My teaching emphasis focuses on zeroing in on what you want to know (or what you THINK you want to know) and filling in all the necessary foundational gaps to give you a full-bodied, comprehensive level of musical proficiency. Each student has their own unique framework of understanding, and instead of trying to violently re-shape your current structures I pride myself on being able to flow with my students' existing knowledge base and play to their strengths while bolstering areas that need improvement.
