I have 4 years experience of teaching English both in classrooms and online, ranging from beginner all the way to higher band IELTs classes I used to teach when working in Hanoi, Vietnam. I have a TEFL Certificate

I spent four years teaching English to Primary, Secondary and adult learners where I developed a range of new skills including communication, planning, organisation and time management which were essential to enable me to carry out this role effectively.

Whilst teaching English in a non-English speaking country, my role involved planning, developing and implementing a range of Lesson Plans and Assessment methods in order to meet the varied learning requirements of students from such a wide range of ages and existing knowledge of English.

I was able to develop good relationships with my students, getting to know them on a personal level which enabled me to vary my teaching methods depending on the individual students’ needs. To do this effectively I acquired new communication skills, as well as becoming very flexible and adaptable to any scenario that I am faced within a teaching environment.

Alongside being a public school teacher, I was also a Registered Tutor with several Chinese companies. Additionally, I worked privately providing online teaching and support to student of all ages from beginner to advanced IELTs mostly in Vietnam.
