First we will talk and understand what you want to achieve from the instruction and decide the format you like to work in, one to one or Online. Whether you enjoy projects to be set or guidance with your own work, then I will construct a plan that we can both agree on, this will be based on how many sessions you want to have, the desired outcomes and the level you are at in your projects. If you require me to set projects that we can work through together that is also fine, I can adapt to the level you are at and what you want from the sessions.
Lesson structure can be project or portfolio based or a hybrid. Project based- I will set projects which we work through together and then you work on inyour own time and then we asess and go over problems encountered, then debrief. Portfolio- We will look at your work to date, discuss and pinpoint areas to focus on, taking in to account your desired result- employment in a particular sector or application to further education Foundation or college courses. Maybe your weak area is audio or editing but you are great at shooting footage, then we would take your footage and work though some ideas and exercises which may then lead to you discovering styles you enjoy. I will bring examples to the lessons and set homework for you if desired, also pulling in my experience from contemporary culture and arts, exhibitions to go see and so-on.
