My name is Mateus I am a multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer from Brazil. I moved to Dublin in 2019 to pursue a degree in music production and composition and have since been playing live gigs, working as a producer, composer and as a session musician in studio recordings.
My experience as a hired musician has allowed me to develop a very wide vocabulary that allows me to cover a multitude of genres form Country, Rock, Blues, Pop, Metal, to Jazz, Soul, Hip-Hop, Samba, Bossa Nova, Neo-soul, and Classical music

I have been teaching private lessons since 2019 for students of all ages and skill levels. I currently teach at a school Cassidy Academy in Dublin and I also do freelance private lessons.
I like to tailor my lessons to the goals of each student as different people will have different interests and ambitions, a few more advanced students might want to focus on a certain technique (finger style travis picking for example) or some students might be more focused on learning theory and reading music notation, while others might just want to play their favourite songs with their friends.

I offer instrument lessons for Guitar (acoustic/electric/classical) or Electric Bass, and music theory and composition lessons.
