I like to teach French through sports, music, movies and other entertainment activities depending on what the student likes the most. I focus more on conversational French than what's in books as French is evolving more and more towards simplified ways of speaking.
We take 5-8 minutes to watch some extract from movies, music or media to discuss the theme.
For beginners, I focus more on grammars and rules as they are the basis.
