I am an experienced NHS professional with a wide range of skills and knowledge.
I have developed a strong interest in teaching over the years training medical students and junior colleagues. I am always available to teach and train either in theatre or during a ward round, out-patient clinic or simulation setting.
I am quite approachable reliable and results-driven.
I am also a reflective surgeon with a science-oriented mind, who has obtained additional qualifications in the context of a busy professional life and achieved a productive academic output. I am an active member of a multi-disciplinary research group of clinicians and engineering scientists with a focus on patient-specific modelling and simulation with a view to treatment optimisation and outcome prediction.
I have a strong background in mathematics which may benefit young people studying towards their GCSEs and A levels.
I am a native Italian speaker.
Therefore, I am offering my skills and knowledge to teach Mathematics and Italian Language.
My teaching approach is quite practical and intensive and tailored according to the needs of the person. Examples of increasing difficulty are essential and effective.
