Guitar and bass lessons available from an experienced, well-rounded teacher.
Ideal for people who have just developed an interest for guitar or bass or guitarists/bassists who need a few pointers in the right direction and want to further their skills.
The content of the lessons will be specific for the individual's desires as a musician but will mostly cover music theory (scales, chord phrasing, picking/strumming techniques etc.) learning songs, tab reading and music composition if the student has an interest in writing their own songs.
Lessons can be done wherever the student feels comfortable; at my home studio, at their house or online via zoom or skype.
I have experience playing all genres as I have played guitar for 13 years as well as studying music for 5 years, 2 year college course and a 3 BA course, during which time I was assessed on performing in bands covering a wide range of musical styles.
As well as teaching, I am also an active musician playing cover gigs around the city and surrounding areas. The music covered varies from Pop, Rock, Folk, Country, Reggae, Jazz and House music which involves several different guitar techniques and playing styles.
The lessons will not be boring or tedious as I have an enthusiastic approach to teaching and like to make things seem fun and interesting as opposed to feeling like you are in a school lesson.
It brings me a great sense of satisfaction to see the improvement of my students and I am confident that I will take your skills to the next level and make you the musician you want to be.
