Hi!
My name is Maryam and I want to help others achieve their goals with history. This is not only an interesting topic that gives us a glimpse of life through different times, but also enhances our essay writing skills. I have achieved an A* in this subject, but it took a lot of work and I have learned a lot by understanding dates and watching documentaries to further strengthen my memory, which helped me in my mocks. The PowerPoints I use include a lot of videos in which I find it is useful for students to make notes while helping to further understand the lifestyle, education system and government structure at a particular time. I will also use a lot of fun quizzes in which you will take part to help boost your speed in recognising key dates and people. I advise students to have a textbook beside them to always use for more notes, since I found it really useful to use this for as a timeline. When upcoming exams happen, I’ll give you websites and videos and my PowerPoints that will benefit you in your revision. I am dedicated to making my favorite subject an engaging lesson that leads to students having a clearer understanding and excelling in their GCSEs. I am determined to support you with any of the topics: Elizabethan England, medieval medicine, Germany and will always send you notes in which I had made during my final year in secondary.
