I’ve had lots of experience with tutoring others both old and young pupils. I’ve tutored my friends and have used the whiteboard when learning them. They have appreciated this and have said the way i tutor is really flexible and enjoyable. I’ve seen them get outstanding grades after this which is something im really proud off. I’ve also taught young children at a mosque where I teach them how to read the Quran. I recognise that the way they learn is different to the older demographic so I have to break it down into simpler terms for them to understand this. I always ensure that my pupils feel comfortable and happy and whenever they look unsure I would ask them to repeat what I’ve said to see where they are at. During my lessons I would ask fire questions (retrieval questions) to ensure that they remember everything that we have learned before. This is something that has helped a lot of my pupils and I want to be able to carry this on. I always plan my lessons ahead by using PowerPoints and to make them enjoyable and fun. I would also use a progress tracker for each student to see if they are making progress then I would give them feedback in the next lessons. Whenever I notice them struggling in a certain area I would mainly target that area to ensure that they become better with it. I would treat each student equally but when I recognise their different weaknesses I would plan different lessons
