Maryam Bruce

I am a 4th-year Biomedical Science student at the University of Aberdeen, specialising in Developmental Biology. Currently working on my dissertation, I have built a strong foundation in scientific analysis, research, and communication. I am on track to graduate with a 2:1 and have developed problem-solving skills that help me explain science in a clear and simple way.

I know science can feel overwhelming - it definitely has for me at times. But over the years, I have learned how to break down tough topics into clear, straightforward explanations that actually make sense. My lessons focus on getting straight to the point with easy-to-follow explanations, real-world examples, and interactive discussions.

I can also help with IB courses, having scored a 6 in IB Higher Biology and a 6 in IB Higher Chemistry. I understand exam techniques, tricky topics, and how to prepare effectively. I can also assist with internal assessments, including lab reports, ensuring structure and scientific accuracy.
