Maryam Ashfaq

As a law student, I have always excelled at academics and alongside studying to achieve my dreams, I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge with others. Throughout the higher years of my education, I have engaged in tutoring pupils of all ages in various subjects like Maths, French and English at different levels. I have also tutored students in spoken and written English. As a multilingual individual myself, I have a knack for learning foreign languages and so I can provide my students with complete support in learning English. I firstly asses the level of proficiency of my students and then create a tailored lesson plan which includes a variety of activities. I firmly believe that the best way to learn a foreign language is to practice speaking and writing it. Therefore, I spend time with my students practising speaking and writing short stories. In addition, through my own learning of languages, I have found that the quickest way to learn words is by watching TV shows in the targeted language and so my students spend their time watching movies in English which we later analyse.
