Everyone has different methods of learning. Some like to visualise or cram themselves with information while others like to listen or practice for themselves. I like my students to tell me how they want to learn. I can make PowerPoints, prepare extra handouts and talk step by step working out with my students. My method of teaching is initially getting the student to understand the concept by applying it to the knowledge outside of the subject. I tend to rely on the practicing aspect and going over previous exam questions in order to strengthen one’s foundation and to perform better in tests.
