Hello everyone, I have been teaching English for over twenty five years and I have taught a wide range of nationalities and levels and catered for many different needs, including Business, General, exam preparation (IELTS, Common Entrance, 11 plus & TOEFL). I have also taught sports players including a double Olympic gold medalist swimmer and several high profile Premiership footballers. In addition, I have presented weekly IELTS webinars to groups of up to 500 students and I am currently teaching Academic Language and Communication Language at the University of the Arts, London, where I also work on a three month pre-sessional course every summer (since 2018). Furthermore, I am a qualified proofreader and I regularly check and edit student essays, dissertations and theses and I am a published writer specialising in short fiction. I am also a very experienced pronunciation and accent reduction teacher and am currently helping a Vietnamese student with those needs.

With regard to my lessons, it is very important that I connect well with my students so I tailor make my lessons to suit the individual. As I have been teaching for a long time, I have a lot of material and access to numerous websites with suitable materials to supplement my lessons.
