As a native English speaker, I’ve always had a passion for the English language. I adore reading and writing stories as well as communicating with others. Studying English at University increased my love of the language and I decided to pursue teaching abroad to merge my two joys in life: English and travel. After completing a 120 hr TESOL certificate I moved to Phuket in Thailand to teach at a secondary school there. I taught 20 classes a week to groups of 20-30 students aged 11–18 year-olds. My lessons primarily focused on communication, listening and speaking. I also provided health lessons in English to students on PKW’s English Programme. I found I worked particularly well working with small groups or in a 1-1 setting. I love chatting with people and finding creative ways to get them engaged and passionate about learning English.

My approach would be to tailor my lessons toward the individual learning. We can talk about areas you would like to develop and improve and I will work from there planning lessons which will help you reach your full potential. I provide easy-going but highly effective lessons which target your weaknesses and expand on your strengths.
