Learning is always fun and tailored to each individuals needs. I love to use stories as a starting point for younger students and approach learning to read and write in a fun creative way, using art and craft to engage the student in the learning process.
Maths teaching is also led by a fun, creative approach, with an emphasis on a practical approach to ensure there is a good understanding of concepts before moving to the next stage.
I have been tutoring for three years now with great success stories with parents very happy with the improvements seen, not only with skills acquired, but with boosted self esteem and self confidence. My expertise lies in supporting children who find learning challenging, especially learning to read and write. I can offer day time sessions if the student is not able to attend school.
