I have years of experience teaching at all levels from primary school to university PhD as well as professionally as a screenwriting, playwriting & communications instructor. My classes have always been interactive and I am more used to being in the room than teaching online but I love it because it allows me to teach anywhere in the world! I use tools from my theatre background in my sessions which allows students to learn experientially, meaning that they get to apply the knowledge which ensures much better understanding therefore much better retention.

I like to encourage my students to express their own individual creativity too as this also ensures a much more varied and enjoyable learning experience. Learning should be fun!

I'm a supporter of self-directed learning too. This means that students can come to my class with an aim of their own regarding the subject, this way I can ensure every student gets exactly what they need from the classes.

I love to use film clips & popular references in my classes too.
