Hi everybody! My name is Mary and I am so excited that we are about to embark on an academic journey together! My goal is for you not only to understand English better, but to enjoy the opportunities and adventures that reading and writing will bring to you. Just like you, I am a student and life-time learner, and I appreciate the challenges that the English subjects bring. Together, we will create goals and develop reading skills that will not only get you on track for school, but on track for your future academia goals.

Our tutoring time will consist of having fun and working-hard. We will review your English homework assignments during the academic term and prepare you for your next academic year during the holiday months. I will help you pick out books that challenge your reading level that expand your reading comprehension, and I will help develop stimulating reading comprehension questions that enable us to have a 'book club' when we are together! Additionally, I will create thought-provoking, creative writing prompts that will teach you to enjoy the writing process, while furthering your knowledge in spelling and grammar. Together, we will expand your literature comprehension and writing skillset. I can't wait to work together!
