Hello!
Hello my name is Mary Ndungu and I am happy to introduce you to my lessons in English. Teaching is my passion and I have teaching experience in teaching English to non-native learners for the past one and a half years since I joined Mount Kenya University.
Lesson Format
The aims and objectives of my lessons are to ensure they are well organized, unique, fun and as individual as the students taking them.
They typically include:
Interactive Activities: So, that is why, I made it possible by applying individual and group activities so that learning is more fun to achieve. These are often discussions, role-plays and language games that have the purpose of using the English language in the practical context.
Targeted Practice: Every lesson when aimed at separate lessons is oriented on special skills, namely reading, writing, listening, or speaking. The exercises that I develop are based on the needs that various students may have.
Assessment and Feedback: This way I am able to determine how you are fairing on and the aspects that require my attention. I do not give negative critique as to demoralize you, but in order to help you improve and find your confidence.
