As a leaner of languages myself (i.e. English, Spanish and French), I know how dull and overwhelming it can feel sometimes. That’s why I incorporate bits of humour and pop culture into my sessions, with an emphasis on the students’ interests in order to allow them to effortlessly assimilate the language.

As a native speaker and being born and raised in Italy, I have a clear understanding of the culture in its many forms, from traditions to television shows, from every-day rituals to cuisines, from stand-up comedy to films d’auteur.
I love, for example, to suggest songs that can help you improve your pronunciation or movies and tv series that can constitute a great topic for us to discuss or for you to write an essay. Being a good cook, I can even teach you how to make a delicious Italian dish while we have a lovely conversation and give you insight on Italian culture.

I’m confident that with my friendly, meet-you-where-you-are approach I will be able to help students to improve both their speaking and writing skills.

I've tutored many students in different subjects which made me good at quickly understanding what is that they need to focus on in order to achieve their goals (i.e. getting good grades, pass an exam with a tight deadline or how to communicate effectively in a certain setting).

My streghts include my bubbly empathetic personality, my excellent writing and editing skill (I’m a member of Italy’s Order of Journalists) and my ability to break down concepts to simply their comprehension to the students.
