As I said earlier, the format I always use when teaching is that, first of all I review the previous lesson we learnt by asking questions. Then I give the topic of the lesson. I explain the topic to the learners. When I am done discussing the topic of lesson, then I ask the learners some questions about the things that have happened in our daily lives keeping in mind that they should relate to the topic of the lesson.
When I am done with discussing the topic of the lesson.I will then do a practical presentation so that the learners can understand more. After the presentation, I will give learners an exercise which they will attempt while in class. If they score everything correct, then I will conclude that the learners understood what I taught them.
I will then conclude the lesson by summarizing the topic of the lesson and then give an assignment.
In content delivery, I always makes sure that I have started from the easiest content to the most difficult content. This always motivates learners to keep on going because they will take the subject to be easier than when you start with a difficult content. Remember difficult content discourages learners.
I have two and half experience in teaching grade nine to twelve learners. I always motivate the learners by giving them a positive reinforcement which usually encourages the learners to put more effort in learning. Most learners have loved my teaching because they find it easier in learning.
