My lessons are always planned with the specific needs of my students. We will run a needs analysis at the first meeting and then I create a program of study tailored to your own needs.
The lessons are planned with interactivity and engagement in mind. You will practice in a safe and comfortable environment under my guidance.
My online lessons are through Microsoft Teams. I use different types of technologies to make my lessons more engaging and interactive. I use quizzes, virtual board/Padlet and many more. Each lesson has an accompanying PowerPoint presentation with handouts to which you have access to through MsTeams.
I have 12+ years of experience of teaching English as a second language (2 years of experience) and teaching English for academic purposes (10+ yearsin total - out of this 4 years of teaching online). I also have just started to prepare my students for their IELTS exam. I have experience of taking the exam myself and of being an IELTS examiner, so I decided to expand to share my knowledge and experience in this field too.
Currently, I am a part time lecturer at the University of Southampton where I prepare students for their studies here in the United Kingdom.
I have a PhD, a Masters and a BA in applied linguistics/English philology. All focused on English language teaching. I use my extensive knowledge and apply it in my virtual classrooms.
