Hi there!

I'm Marta. I'm a proactive and motivated ESL teacher for students aged 6 to 18 as well as adults. My teaching experience ranges from being a private tutor to working with larger classes with over 20 students. I have also prepared students for the Oxford Test of English and Cambridge FCE, PET and KET exams.

My approach is communicative and student-oriented, since I adapt to the student’s needs and level. My classes are dynamic, with a focus on speaking and listening skills. However, we can also work on improving reading comprehension and essay writing by analyzing different types of texts. I believe that the key to being fluent is through constant exposure, so I will bring real-life examples to practice each language skill and help you adapt to diverse situational contexts. From popular songs to news articles, we can explore a range of topics and vocabulary, whether the register is formal or informal.

Depending on the student's level, classes can involve games and flashcards for a beginner's level, while debates and presentations can be organized for a lower/upper intermediate level. I always encourage students to try their best as they feel confident and comfortable during the class, as the only way to improve is to practice. Experience has taught me that learning a language is a daily activity that needs to be developed over time, but your effort and motivation can make the difference. If you are willing to put in the work, your level will soon skyrocket!
