I am a very flexible tutor. My lessons and teaching style is based on collaboration. I work with you, in a way you feel comfortable, that makes you happy. We will focus our time together on areas that you highlight, that you wish to work on and I will adjust my style to encompass your learning style.
My lessons are not a one-way street of me talking, they are interactive and require you as the student to dive deep into your own experiences, learn from them and understand how those experiences can guide your own development.
Lesson plans are built around your needs and your opportunities. I will develop lesson plans that cater to the needs we highlight through discussion and coaching. We will build a focused and structured learning plan that helps to guide us whilst creating a pathway (baseline) of modules that we can work on together.
I am fluid tutor and would offer the time as a 1-2-1 coaching session if required or needed. Just like the modern-day organizations you work or aspire to work in, the need for flexibility is an essential part of what I offer. For example, those students currently in Leadership Roles may find it beneficial to work on a “live” issue especially if situation is has arisen in the workplace at that moment in time. We can change direction without issue.
Harry Truman once said that “Not all readers are leaders, but all leaders are readers.” I have highlighted this quote a number of times and it remains true. This is something I expect from those I work with. Like with any sport or hobby that you are always catching up on the latest news whether by learning from your social media or by listening to others’ opinions or views… this helps you to improve, get better. It is the same with leadership. To build your leadership skills we must learn from those who been there, done it and have been successful with their methods! Reading helps, whether that be the latest Forbes article on Emotional Intelligence or Simon Sineks excellent book “Start with Why” its an important skill for leaders to develop. I will help you find those resources, understand how they can support your growth and build this new habit.
I look really do look forward to working with you….
