During high school, I have always pondered on the best approach to teach maths and that is to make sure the "why" always comes with each step. I personally had tuition classes when I was younger and sometimes, I did not agree as to their method of teaching by just doing the questions but never really explained why it had to be done that way.
Not only did I needed a lot of practice, but I had to always go back home and figure out myself why each step was done a certain way. Hence, with my knowledge, I feel that I am best suited to help share this with anyone who has difficulty in trying to grasp the concepts and therefore, lead to the skills to answer those examination questions.
After university, I went straight to work as a Design Structural Engineer. Although calculations were mostly done using software programmes, there were clients like architects who needed explanation as to why my numbers were "right". Hence, there was still the need to produce hand calculations with detailed workings to make sure the steel structures are feasible to stand and not collapse.
With my background, I am capable of providing services to explain why the Math questions are needed to be done in certain ways, finding out keywords to help on where to start on the difficult questions as well as going through any topics that needs covering.
