Mark graduated with a first class Masters of Engineering from Trinity College, Oxford. He has been a qualified secondary school teacher for 18 years, specialising in Physics, Science and Maths. Mark has worked at a top West London day school for eight years and previously held the position of Head of Physics and Joint Head of Science in a private school in the Middle East. Before this he completed two years in a London comprehensive school as part of the Teach First programme, gaining Qualified Teacher Status. Mark has been an examiner and coursework moderator for many years, so has a deep understanding of what examiners are looking for. Mark now works as a Physics Teacher in one of the country's leading selective grammar schools.
Mark has delivered thousands of hours of private tuition across all different ages and abilities, tutoring many students for entrances exams of schools such as Eton, Westminster and Godolphin and Latymer, amassing a wealth of appropriate resources. Mark is also a UCAS advisers specialising in university applications to Medicine, Dentistry, Vet Sci and Law; advising student on how to get in to medical school is a particular specialty of his, with a 90% success rate over five years. In addition to his normal teaching duties, Mark has delivered course for the UKCAT and GAMSAT at Imperial College for many years and has acted as an educational consultant for the Young Foundation.
