As someone who is passionate about maths, I aim to pass on my passion to prospective students. I do this through simple explanations of each topic, breaking the maths down to basic examples, and I engage my students through various questions - which make students think about each topic. I establish a rapport with students and always have a friendly demeanour, making tasks less daunting through humour and discussion. Throughout our lessons, students tend to grow a greater appreciation for maths and its wider applications; as we tackle harder problems they learn to understand maths and begin to approach topics with ease.
Additionally, as an Oxbridge applicant, I can provide advice to those at AS-level on how they should approach "super-curriculars" in the sphere of Mathematics, Sciences, and Engineering, in order to make a strong application.
