Private History Tutor – Tailored Support for Academic Excellence

Achieved an A at A-Level, a 9 at GCSE, and a studied BA in History and Politics. I offer personalized one-on-one History tutoring to help students succeed at every level of study.

My sessions focus on:

Mastering essay structure to write clear, persuasive arguments.

Comprehensive understanding of historical content, covering both the depth and breadth of coursework.

Targeted homework assignments, designed to address individual strengths and challenges.

Each lesson is tailored to the student’s course level and unique needs. Lessons are interactive and engaging, focusing on building confidence and fostering a deeper understanding of History's nuances. I aim to create a supportive learning environment that motivates students and ensures measurable progress.

The lifeblood of my lesson structure is feedback. Students will be assessed on their strengths and weaknesses, which will be used to carefully plan future lessons. For example, if the student is a master of course content but struggles with essay structure, focus will be placed on improving these weaknesses. Additionally, I emphasize critical thinking skills, enabling students to analyze historical events with clarity and depth.

My background knowledge is varied, but I am most well-versed in Germany Medicine through the Ages, The American West, The Normans, Italy ( ), and The British Experience of Warfare ( ). If the student’s course content differs from what is listed here, I can readily adapt and restructure my lessons to meet their specific needs.
