I am passionate about progress and development. A student's progress often depends on the teacher or tutor's ability to tailor their teaching style to the student's needs. That's what I'm all about! I don't stick to one teaching style; I'm flexible in my methodology and deliver my lessons in the way my student learns best. This personalised approach ensures that each student receives the support they need to thrive academically.

My technique focuses on building a solid foundation to effectively apply knowledge in solving exam-style questions and past paper questions. During each lesson, we will work through the chosen topic using interactive whiteboards to enhance understanding and engagement. Lessons are interactive, incorporating presentation slides, detailed notes, and collaborative activities, which make learning more engaging and effective.

In addition to our lessons, I offer extensive support such as homework checking, exam paper marking, essay writing assistance, and targeted exam practice. I have also authored academic success guides specifically crafted to help students excel in their studies. These guides provide additional resources and strategies to further support students outside of our regular sessions.

After each lesson, students will receive practice questions to attempt in their own time to consolidate everything we've covered together. This practice helps reinforce their learning and prepares them for upcoming exams. Each lesson is typically an hour long, and tuition is available for students in Years 5-11, ensuring that a wide range of educational needs are met.

My rates are competitive: £12 per hour for SATs, £15 per hour for KS3 students, and £20 per hour for GCSE students.
