Marina Velayos

Hi! ¡Hola! How are you? ¿Cómo estáis?
My name is Marina and I have been a teacher for 17 years. I started doing private lessons when I was 18 and I enjoyed so much that I decided to become a professional teacher.
I studied my teaching degree in Spain while working in an academy, supporting students to improve their English and Spanish level. When I had nearly finished uni, I moved to Ireland and then to UK so I could start practising my knowledge with people who wanted to learn Spanish or English as a second language.
I worked in hospitality, in social care and in education as well, so I could develop my communicative skills in different areas.
I am currently working as a supply teacher at different locations and schools, including primary, secondary and college levels.

The most important thing about languages is that we use them to communicate with other people, so the more languages we learn the more people we can communicate with around the world.
