Marina Harris

Hello, I’m Marina. I'm an experienced English and I live not far from Cambridge. I am especially experienced in teaching Business English and IELTS. I specialize in teaching English through conversation, also I implement modern teaching techniques, such as task based learning. I've been working for British Council Online, Regent Cambridge, and other English schools for over 14 years.

I always try to find a way to make lessons engaging so every student learns to the best of their ability. I am CELTA and TESOL qualified. Also, I’ve obtained a masters degree in teaching English and language acquisition.

I always ask students about their goals and propose a solid learning plan. I would be more than happy to help you with your English.

I am a self-motivated person who is interested in the origin of words and loves hiking with my dog. I can support conversations on any topic and put a lot of effort into planning my lessons as well as making sure that every second of the lesson you learn something.

I work with all levels, starting from an absolute beginner. Do not worry if you don't know a single word in the English language, I am qualified to teach through pictures and gestures. A couple of week it might be difficult, but as soon as you learn basic vocabulary, you will be able to speak much better!
