Marilena Theodoraki

Our piano teacher, Marilena, offers classical piano lessons for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. She has been teaching piano lessons since 2013. This piano teacher has appeared as soloist in Greece and the UK in a variety of performances at cultural centers, churches, and conservatory venues. She also performs chamber music with violin and piano. She has participated in multiple competitions and won a scholarship by contest for two years in a row. Marilena has high expectations for her students in both behavior and achievement, as she has been taught in the same way. Her instructors and tutors over the years have taught her to be constantly improving, and this motivation is something she looks to impart to her own students. Mindful that every student is unique, this piano teacher encourages each one to be self-motivated, positive, and to set their own goals high. Marilena works over 6 years in London schools and in private and has built a great reputation so far. Whatever is your goal (find a creative hobby, or enter to exams or prepare a repertoire for a concert), she can help you achieve your goals with great practise plans which will be worked out around your schedule. Improving technical skills supporting with theory and actually learn how to read a score. Main goal is to build confident students who can be independent to practise and actually enjoy the learning process.
