I LOVE languages and I want to help you love learning them too!
My lessons are fun, engaging, motivating and successful. If you think you can't learn French, let me prove you wrong - you can! I like to work collaboratively with my students to find the methods and strategies which work best for each individual.
Good language teaching is all about making a student feel comfortable and confident enough to take risks, and language learning should be something you are able to enjoy rather than dread, so building trust between teacher and student is a priority.
I am a highly experienced, successful and motivated language teacher and have a lot of experience at secondary school and university level, from year 7 through to GCSE, A-level and beyond.
I love working with all age groups and abilities. I particularly enjoy teaching French from years 7-13 but also enjoy teaching Key Stage 3 Spanish.
I always make sure I use a fun approach, a balance of skills and a variety of activities at a pace which is both comfortable and stimulating for the learner. I engage my learners by using relevant scenarios and I like to encourage you to take risks and use as much French or Spanish as possible in an environment where mistakes don't matter.
