Teaching Ability.

I have a BA in English Language studies as well as a 120 hour advanced TEFL certification. Besides this I also have other certifications of additional courses I have done for further study and research into new study methods and how to help students to improve more effectively.

I have been teaching students of all ages and from all walks of life, from children to adults, people who have no jobs to Engineers, Doctors and scientists for the past 8 years.

Teaching Skills.

Hi my name is Marie, in my 8 years of teaching I have taught thousands of students to improve their grammar, general speaking skills, conversational skills as well as business language skill not only to improve grammar, vocabulary and reading skills but also common English expressions and a truly native way of speaking in any environment and lastly even to help students to travel abroad and learning common slang words and phrases from specific countries.

My teaching style is relaxed, comfortable, enthusiastic, optimistic yet detail oriented, I adapt according to my students needs and can effectively guide any student to speak confidently.

Because I have taught so many students from L 4 - L 12, I have effectively learned how to adapt to each student even when there are more than one student in a lesson.

Noticeable improvement of students is very important to me as well as being rewarding.

One of my most memorable students is Lucky. She is a 10 year old girl from China that started at L 4 at the age of 5 and progressed to L12 by the age of 8 years studying with adults and being as fluent and confident as the other adult students yet being humble and sweet at all times.
