Marie Conwell

My in class experience has been teaching from the age of 3 up to adults and teaching English as a Foreign Language. I have worked as a teacher in Thailand, Vietnam and spent time working in USA, Senegal and Ireland. I am passionate about creating positive environments that encourage independent learning by use of facilitating the students in their education. During my studies I have learnt the importance of the role of an educator as a facilitator to education. During my teaching career I have been exposed to a variety of teaching methods to promote independent learning.

At present I am teaching English online. My passion is working closely with students and helping them to achieve their goal in learning how to speak English. I travel a lot and meet students from all over the world. This sparked the interest to teach online so that I could spend time with students and teach them English. I am a people person with 15 years of experience in working with people.

My experience varies from the age of 3 up to adults. I have the resources for Cambridge English, Business English, Pre-IELTS, IELTS, Speaking Well in English, Speak Up in English, and I can asses your needs by using a personalised placement test which will assess your level of English and determine the most suitable book for you.
