About me

I was the sole A level English teacher at an independent fifth and sixth form college from September 2023- June 2024. I also took on some 1:1 GCSE tuition whilst there. I believe that students are at the heart of teaching and my approach to tutoring focuses on what students need. I was the sole A level English teacher at an independent fifth and sixth form college from September 2023- June 2024. I also took on some 1:1 GCSE tuition whilst there. I believe that students are at the heart of teaching and my approach to tutoring focuses on what students need. I give a lot of input and content into my sessions and this will be guided by what my students need. If they want to work on exam technique or certain question styles, or if they need more coverage of content, or a mixture of both, I will tailor their lessons to fit what they need and maximize the usefulness of our sessions to help them achieve the best grades possible. I also mark for an exam board so I know exactly what examiners are looking for.
