Having earned a French degree and Tefl qualification in 1999, my first job was teaching English to air traffic controllers and engineers at Aerospatiale in Toulouse.
I loved the whole experience, my classroom used to overlook hangars of boeing 747s!
I decided to come home and train to be a French teacher, gaining my PGCE in 2003. I worked as a secondary school teacher and loved making my lessons as authentic, creative and fun as possible.
Over the years I've also taught at adult learning centres and primary schools, I've assisted in teaching translation workshops where children translated childrens books at the Royal Festival Hall in London and brought these workshops to local children too. I tutor A level and GCSE students and love enabling them to attain high grades.
My extensive online teaching experience has given me the opportunity to hone my teaching skills even further and you will benefit from my years of trial and error.

My philosophy is that making mistakes is not only acceptable when learning a new language but it is essential. I will teach you the grammar rules in a clear, structured way, building your progression in a logical way but I will also encourage you to be creative with language.

I will give you access to authentic audio, texts and games. I will foster experiences to embed the French language in your memory and soul.
