I’ve been studying Sociology since GCSEs and am now at UCL studying Social Sciences. My passion for this subject allows me to delve into educational difficulties, whether it may be struggle with revision or poor motivation. I’m able to create lesson plans tailored to students’ learning abilities and preferred learning styles. Sociology as a subject gives us a greater understanding of society, particularly the education sector with many sociologists publishing theories and studies on it. From this, I’ve learnt a lot about the difference in educational experiences of students from certain demographics and can give them the motivation needed to achieve their goals. As an aspiring Sociology teacher, I can assure you that I would have my students’ needs as my number one priority and will work with them as a team to get the grades they deserve.
