I tutored my brother for half a year when he was taking the course English IGCSE in tenth grade. He was a B1 - intermediate level in English because he is not native, and language was never his aim. Knowing that he had problems with understanding questions and finding words that match with the requirements made by British Council, I took the challenge to deal with this problem to sort all of the complex information, simply explain it to him, and hand him instructions that enhances his vocabulary. Then by himself he was able to clearly identify, write, and express any exercise from book or past papers. This experience was a great deal for him for the reason that he is now patient more with language, and is profound to communicate in English without hesitation or fear. When the exam result came out, he was happy to share with everyone his 'A' result.
Likewise, I tutored other languages to my college friends, such as French and Russian, and I had dealt with the same experience while tutoring them. Proudly I can say that every friend that I tutored scored high marks.
I believe that the reason why I am an excellent tutor is because I have patience and observation skills. These two skills are what makes me professional in delivering simply instructed information which are straight to the point for all kinds of levels, no matter of age.
