Marialena Gkogkidi

Joining Pinewood in 2023, Marialena Gkogkidi was born and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece. She holds a BSc in Greek Philology and a Master's Degree in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, which was awarded to her with academic excellence from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Her academic interests include, among others, the integration of digital technologies in education, which culminated in her diploma thesis, as well as the use of Artificial Intelligence and Data for educational and other purposes. Passionate about AI, she continuously implements AI-driven activities in her lessons and takes initiatives to explore its potential in education.

Before her employment as a Secondary Language Teacher, she taught in afternoon schools and worked for the Hellenic Open University as administrative personnel.
