I am an English Studies graduate at the University of Warsaw. I have over 4 years of experience in teaching both group and individual classes. I have taught English at A1-C1 levels and helped my students prepare for various exams and certifications. I have worked with people aged from 6 to 60 years old, including those with special learning needs.

My degree as well as my major, British literature, are one of the many manifestations of my passion for languages. I have started learning English when I was about five years old; hence, at this stage of my life, I use this language on a daily basis as a bilingual.

I am interested in language teaching, English literature and culture. As of October 2019, I teach one-to-one with students of different age ranges (elementary and high school students, university students, adults, seniors). I conduct lessons mostly for international students; hence, each class is given fully in the target language.

I champion equal learning opportunities for all students. In my teaching style, I emphasise the need to provide the students with materials adjusted to their level, learning style, learning needs, expectations, and capabilities, among other factors. I first make sure they feel comfortable talking on whatever topic is planned to be discussed in class.

I believe authentic language is what we all need in this day and age. In my lessons, I rely on authentic materials of various cultural backgrounds - I don't hold one variant of an accent/a dialect a "universal standard" as in the case of most formal education facilities. It is crucial to explore different perspectives since English has become the language of multicultural communication.
