I have been tutoring GCSE maths and sciences since 2011. My lessons are interactive, including multimedia presentations (slides and videos) broken up with lots of exercises and games. There are plenty of opportunities for students to ask as many questions as they need to understand the subject. I can set students homework or not, depending on the student's schedule and desired teaching intensity.

My teaching style is empowering, flexible and fun! I help students gain the confidence to excel in their subjects independently. I do this by approaching problems from new angles and in a fun and engaging way. I like to work with students to understand which areas they find most challenging and focus on those. I can also help with homework and exam techniques, as well as university and careers advice.

I teach GCSE biology and chemistry, as well as mathematics. I provide all my own materials. I can teach online or in person in Salford or Manchester (extra charge applies for in person lessons). I'm available any time on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, or 4pm onwards on Mondays and Wednesdays. Please indicate the student's exam board (AQA, Edexcel, etc) when arranging lessons with me.

More about me: I'm half English and half Russian, and fluent in both languages. I enjoy yoga (I'm a qualified instructor) and I'm currently studying for a Master's degree in data science. I also enjoy walking and crafting and would be happy to incorporate this into in-person sessions if students would find it helpful.
