I have been working with children from the age of nursery up to year 6.
I am also finishing my level 3 teaching assistant to hopefully start working in class with children on a more regular basis.
On my opinion I think every individual has different learning paces and capacities so the best way of providing the appropriate teaching is you have to learn about each one’s learning levels and then base your teaching materials on that.
When teaching someone either a small child or a grown up you need to ensure it’s easy but also challenging for the students to enjoy learning otherwise it will not achieve the results that are expected.
Like many times the children I work with and even my own children say that if a lesson or subjects are not fun to learn they don’t bother to make an effort to learn but on the other hand if it is a subject or a lesson they are really enjoying they will memorize every little bit of information they’re learned about it and many times will ask questions and require more detailed information.
I enjoy working with children and help them develop their learning skills it’s quite satisfying when you can help a child struggling with a subject and see how overjoyed they become when they achieve and learn how to do it, most of the times that child just needs a bit of a push on the right direction to ensure they understand and manage to resolve it by themselves.
