I usually approach my lessons, firstly focusing on the weak subject areas of my students, this can be moulded and changed to fit their learning during school, giving that extra support that many students need, as sometimes, content was either missed or just needed a re explanation for it to be understood. During my lessons, I use the zoom platform, however, can be changed to students preference if needed. Using the available white board in zoom, I am enable to explain the content in detail, until student feels like they have understood the different concepts of the topic discussed, following that, I will ensure me and student do exercises together, depending on exam board and different difficulty levels. Then, I am able to test the students asking them questions, and how they would solve a particular question, building their independency, ensuring they will be able to answers the questions alone with confidence. Finally, at the last stage of ensuring the student has learnt content holistically and also with detailed, I will hand tests, which are time pressured, following a similar structure then the actual exams. These will be marked and discussed between me and my student, progress will be monitored and compared every 3 months. On top of that, homework is also provided during the end of my lessons. Homework will usually consist of similar exercises from my lessons, so that the student can practice the skills they have learnt and be able to apply then in their own time independently.
