Maria Iosif

Hello! My name is Maria. I am a final-year student specializing in International Relations and French. Last year, I had the opportunity to study in Paris where all of my classes were in French. This experience helped familiarize with the academic and the professional French vocabulary and enhance my French level (C1). I have experience tutoring English to beginners and I usually start with a mix of basic grammar in order to give them confidence in their language skills, and, then focus closely on what my students want to want to express and learn. I like mixing theoretical notions with conversational and comprehension exercises. I have passed all of my Delf exams, so I could help with the preparation of these exams. Learning a new language could be daunting at the beginning, but I believe that with the guidance of a good teacher these feelings could turn into excitement for discovering a new culture and acquiring a new skill.
