If you’re looking for a tutor you definitely want to find someone who is a good fit for you/ your child.
I can say with certainty that I am that person.
Why? I have experienced a range of awful teachers during my time in school and one thing that I always find in common between their lessons is that I always think of ways that I could improve them.
I work better with children in primary school to early years of secondary school (7-9) as I feel that they’re the ones who I can tutor more effectively.
I’m a dedicated student who is really passionate about being able to help others in their learning.
I’m open to constructive criticism about my tutoring as I understand how difficult it is to learn from someone who doesn’t adapt to your needs.
Whatever you have to say just know I’m here to listen and to help you.
I’m also not the type to get frustrated when someone doesn’t understand something. I understand that everyone has their strengths and weaknesses and my goal is to turn those weaknesses into strengths through hard work and determination.
Since I'm a student myself, I have had the opportunity to gain experience on helpful ways to learn and the not so helpful ones.
I will work with students to find their problem areas and use that information to plan what I help them with.
I may seem too young to be able to effectively tutor someone but I assure you that I am more organised and efficient than some of my teachers. I can also manage my time and organise tutoring sessions and their contents well.
Before working with new students I think it’s helpful to get an idea of what they’re learning in school and the topics that they’re struggling with so that I can organise what I will be tutoring them on.
