In the tutor sessions I will be aiming to present information to students in a comprehensive format and use lots of active recall methods in the revision sessions. I will also aim to find out what their improvements can be based on past exams or tests, and communicate this to them for use in their independent study or revision sessions and at school.
Most of the active recall revision will undertake exam formats including past paper questions for effective recall, however I will also aim to implement external questions and quizzes to keep the minds engaged. I wish to be able to give students tips on how to revise efficiently in their independent study sessions and will also be available for questions and queries that students may have.
We will touch on past exams and find ways to improve the questions that students get wrong on exams, and we will also work on memorization techniques to remember the accurate vocabulary. I also intend to carry out scripted conversations with students to enable them to ace their speaking exams and will work on the pronunciation of certain words or sections of words that students find hard.
As for the listening quiz I intend to give students different means of finding shows and videos of Spanish-speaking people for them to get a good idea of the way that native Spanish speakers articulate and how to students can use these tricks and tips in their exams to build up their confidence and achieve the higher marks they need.
