Hello! I am Maria. I’m from Mexico City and moved to London three months ago.
Some words to describe myself: creative, kind, hard-working, open-minded, and patient.
How do I teach?
I use fun and engaging methods tailored to each child’s learning style. My lessons include games, crafts, reading, singing, and exploring Mexican culture, which allows children to learn Spanish in an interactive and memorable way.
I currently work as an au pair and have three years of childcare experience. I am also teaching music to two young girls (ages 6 and 4). I ensure each lesson is exciting and creative, keeping them focused and entertained throughout the session.
Every child is unique, which is why I customize each lesson based on their interests, needs, and pace of learning. My goal is to make sure they not only learn but also feel encouraged and confident.
As someone with ADHD, I understand the challenges of staying focused and motivated, so I incorporate strategies that make learning enjoyable and productive for all types of learners.
In my lessons, children will feel supported and have fun while developing their language skills. I am passionate about teaching and helping kids discover a love for learning. With my experience and dedication, I aim to make Spanish lessons enjoyable, enriching, and inspiring for your child.
Can’t wait to have a fun time with my students!.
Best regards,
Maria.
