Hi! My name is Mari and I am 21 years old from Wales! I have lots of experience with children, starting off with volunteering at After school clubs and then teaching in Argentina. Over the past year, I have lived in Argentina, getting experience teaching English to Argentinian children and adults in schools and institutes. I taught them cultural lessons and conversational classes as this is what they needed to focus on. Also, I have recently completed my TEFL Qualification with TEFL Org.
My format is informal so that the students are comfortable and will feel like they can speak with no judgement in my class! However, when needed I can adapt my lessons to a more formal setting as sometimes this is needed. I hope that the atmosphere will be fun and we can have a laugh as it will be more enjoyable for the student and for me! I can adapt my lessons to the needs of the students and have experience with doing this in Argentina, as I worked with different ages, varying from age 4 to adults. My lessons would be online as I am based in a small country called Wales, and I would love to teach students from all across the world! My interests include traveling, sports, cooking, and learning about different cultures! I hope you got a sense of what I'm like and what our lessons could be like!
