I am an experienced and qualified teacher of languages. I have an M.A.(Hons.) in Russian Language and Literature (with subsidiary English, Philosophy, and Latin) from the University of St Andrews, an M.Ed. from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and a P.G.C.E from Nottingham University. I have worked in schools and colleges for over 20 years, mainly as Head of Russian in an Independent school in the Midlands. I have served on A-level committees and as a marker for major examining Boards. Additionally, I have taught Latin and Greek at Common Entrance and Scholarship level as well as to junior forms in senior schools. Currently, I am furthering my study of Classical subjects, and I am keen to share my knowledge and enthusiasm.
